Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. Her first fame was the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred with the veteran actor Anil Koopor. Her next appearance on screen was in Dil with Aamir. She was born into an Mumbai middle-class family and started dancing in her early years. When she was in her early years as she began to act as a child actress, most of the films that she made did not succeed. She eventually became one of the most famous actresses in Indian film. The actress took a hiatus from acting following her marriage before returning to the entertainment industry. Recently, she played an important performance on the film Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit has been nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit. It is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. Also, she is well recognized for her charity work.
