Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). As a young girl of just five years old, she moved to Oxfordshire and attended an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. Emma was only six when she decided that she wanted to become an actress. The actress trained for several years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a partially-time theater school in Oxford in which she learned acting and singing. It was already her turn to perform in a variety of Stagecoach and school productions when she reached the age of ten. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) The film adaption of J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel was cast for the first second time back in 1999. Emma was noticed by casting directors through Emma's Oxford theatre instructor. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone as well as Ron Weasley told Emma after seven auditions that she'd been cast in these roles. Emma was chosen to play alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. The film's release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's first cinematic screen appearance. The film broke all records in terms of the opening weekend and numbers, and was the top-grossing 2001 film. Reviewers have been highly acclaimed of the film and the performances of its three major young actors. The Daily Telegraph, an influential British newspaper, called Emma's portrayal "amazing". Later Emma was nominated for five awards for her role in the film, winning her the Young Artist Award for Leading Actress of a Younger in the Feature Film.
